Uzzi completed his undergraduate degree in the spring of 2012, earning a degree in business administration. He is currently pursuing a second major in public policy.

Uzzi is of the highest character and is an outstand representative of Georgia Tech.
Community
Uzzi has volunteered for a number of projects to assist in the community, including: ACC Clean-Up Day, Bright Futures Academy in West Atlanta, Special Olympics, GT For The Kids Dance Marathon, Hillside Children’s Home Field Day, Visit to Shepherd’s Center to visit patient, Austin Whitten (Summer 2012), Volunteered/Spoke @ Roddy Jones 1st Annual Football Camp (Summer 2012).
Competition
Uzzi is a 2012 Preseason All-ACC selection and is on the 2012 Outland Trophy Watch List. He is a member of the following pre-season teams: 2012 Preseason Second Team All-America (Lindy’s), a 2012 Preseason Best Run Blocker in ACC (Lindy’s), a 2012 Preseason First Team All-ACC (Lindy’s), 2012 Preseason First Team All-ACC (Athlon), 2012 Preseason First Team All-ACC (Phil Steele), 2012 Preseason First Team All-ACC (Blue Ribbon) and 2012 Preseason Second Team All-America (Phil Steele). Uzzi was a 2011 Second Team All-American (SI.com), a 2011 Third Team All-American (Rivals), a 2011 First Team All-ACC member and a 2011 First Team All-ACC (Phil Steele) selection. An All-American at offensive guard, Uzzi has more experience than any Yellow Jacket on the offensive line. He has helped Georgia Tech rank in the top four nationally in rushing in each of the three previous seasons. He has great strength and has improved his fundamentals since arriving at Tech.
