Maxwell is on pace to graduate June 2012 with a major in fashion and retail studies.

Character

Maxwell has a strong work ethic that she relies on to succeed in school, athletics and everyday endeavors. Her willingness to try new things has helped her excel.

Community

Maxwell has volunteered at soup kitchens in her hometown and at many soccer clinics. She has made blankets for underprivileged families with newborns and volunteered at the Columbus Zoo serving food.

Competition

As a junior, Maxwell was the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and third team NSCAA All-American, playing in 23 contests and starting 16. She was named first team All-Great Lakes Region and first team All-Big Ten and led the Buckeyes and tied for second in the Big Ten with 10 goals. She tallied a team-high 22 points to tie for fourth in the Big Ten while leading the Buckeyes with five game-winning goals. As a sophomore, she played in 20 contests, starting eight and tied for the team lead with six goals. Her freshman year, Maxwell was named the team’s Most Valuable Player on offense after leading the team with eight goals and 18 points. She earned three end-of-season honors, being named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com all-freshman second team, to the Soccer Buzz All-Freshman Great Lakes Region team and to the Big Ten Conference all-freshman team.
