Classroom

Slogic is an Environmental Engineering major with a 3.406 GPA. He was named to Cornell’s Dean’s list as a sophomore in 2012 and will graduate early in December of 2013. He earned All-Academic First Team honors from the Ivy League and an All-Academic East Region from the NSCAA in 2012.

Patrick has a variety of career interests, including: professional soccer player, environmental lawyer, doctor or an engineer of renewable energy or water system design.

Character

Slogic is a leader both on and off the field for the Big Red. In addition to being a member of Team Council, Slogic will captain the Cornell squad in 2013.

Community

Slogic volunteers at the Dewitt Middle School after-school soccer program and also volunteered at a fundraiser in nearby Trumansburg to support pediatric cancer.

Competition

Slogic started every game of Cornell’s 2012 Ivy League Championship campaign while anchoring the Big Red defense. Cornell finished the 2012 season ranked 20th nationally by the NSCAA.

Patrick enters the 2013 season with five goals and four assists for 14 career points. He scored two goals in 2012; both were game-winning headers, and also added an assist.

He is a two-time All-Ivy League First Team honoree (2011 & 2012, as well as a two-time NSCAA All-Region First Team member (2011 & 2012).

In 2011 he was named to the all-tournament team of Cornell’s Inaria Classic. He was also All-Ivy League honorable mention following his freshman season in 2010.
