Classroom

Third Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American in 2007. Carries a 3.49 cumulative grade point average. Candidate for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in May of 2008 with a concentration in entrepreneurship and management. Has served as a teaching assistant for two courses in the W.P. Carey Entrepreneurship and Management Department. Completed an internship with the Cordish Company, a commercial real estate development, where he served in a support role for the executive management team, maintained the web site for the company’s multi-billion dollar Ballpark Village development and specialized in a development role within the “Entertainment Concept Investors” program.

Character

Team captain this season for the defending national champion Blue Jays. He is also active with the Johns Hopkins chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Community

Rabil has spent time working for a charity group at a retirement home in Crofton, Maryland during junior and senior year in high school. Has been active with the Blue Jays’ Holiday Magic program since arriving at JHU. The team spends a majority of the fall semester raising money, gathering toys, school supplies, clothing and other essentials and distributing these items to families and children throughout the Baltimore area in December.

Competition

Helped lead Johns Hopkins to the NCAA Championship in 2005 and 2007. Earned Third Team All-America honors as a freshman and first team honors as a sophomore and junior. Recipient of the McLaughlin Award as the nation’s top midfielder in 2007 and a finalist for the Tewaaraton Trophy as the nation’s top player last year as well. Led the nation’s midfielders in in scoring last season with 53 points (27g, 26a) and enters final season with a chance to become JHU’s career scoring leader among midfielders. Enters final season with career totals of 75 goals and 53 assists for 128 points.
