Classroom

Snavely has excelled in the classroom at Wichita State, where he earned his criminal justice degree. In May of 2020, he graduated magna cum laude with a 3.88 GPA.

He was named to the AAC All-Academic team twice and Dean’s List seven times during his undergraduate career.

Snavely holds a 4.0 GPA in his current pursuit of a master’s in sport management.

Community

Four four semesters, Snavely served as a tutor for Spanish at Wichita State.

Competition

Prior to the suspension of the 2020 season, Snavely was off to a stellar start. He had been 2-1 with a 2.95 ERA in four starts, allowing only seven earned runs and six walks. Snavely tallied 28 strikeouts in his 21 1/3 innings pitched.

He was named one of the top 150 starting pitchers by D1Baseball for his efforts that season, which included an 11 strikeout game.

In his career, Snavely has 130 strikeouts in 134 2/3 innings.
