Character

Wilson is a fifth-year senior who, for the last four seasons, has continually proven to be a dedicated leader and positive role model. Since beginning her career as at Titan, Wilson has been one of Fullerton’s main attacking threats. Her athleticism, skill and speed have been the main catalyst for CSUF’s success over recent years. Wilson is one of the hardest working players that head coach Demian Brown has ever worked with, both on and off the field. Her high energy and love for the sport has made her a fan favorite in Titan Stadium. As captain of the women’s soccer program, she provides the leadership for her teammates by example. She strives for perfection in all assets of her life, and her internal drive pushes her to that success.

Community

Wilson has begun mentoring young soccer players in the community and has provided personal soccer training for a number of youth soccer players in the community. Wilson has volunteered with Soccer for Hope, a non-profit cancer awareness foundation. In addition, she has volunteered with Fullerton Rangers Soccer Club practices and academy mentor program. She has also assisted with local elementary school physical education classes.

Competition

With a team-leading 10 goals and three assists in 2015, Wilson has led Cal State Fullerton to an 8-2-1 record. Her 10 goals, including five game winners, and 23 points each rank in the national top-10 and lead the Big West Conference. She has now produced back-to-back 10-goal seasons, just third Titan in program history record multiple seasons scoring at least 10 goals.
Wilson’s 62 career points and 25 career goals each rate third all-time at Fullerton, respectively. In Fullerton’s first seven games of the year, Wilson recorded at least an assist or goal in every match, becoming just one of three players in program history to have a streak of at least seven games with a point. In addition, she scored at least one goal in six consecutive games, becoming just the second player in Cal State Fullerton program history to complete such a streak.
During her time with the Titans, Fullerton has won two Big West Conference regular season championships (2012, 2014) and two league tournament titles making two NCAA Tournament appearances (2013, 2014). Wilson recovered from a season-ending injury in 2013, and as a junior in 2014, she was named to the NSCAA All-West Region Second Team, Big West Offensive Player of the Year and to the Big West First Team, while earning two Big West Player of the Week nods. In addition, in 2014, she led the Titans with 10 goals and added three assists – scoring the most goals for a Titan since 2004. As a sophomore in 2012, she was named Big West Honorable Mention.
