Classroom

Musgrave was named first team All-Valley Scholar-Athlete in 2006 and 2007. He has been a member of the Athletic Director’s honor roll six times and named to the Dean’s list six times. With a cumulative GPA of 3.764, Musgrave is majoring in accounting. His career goal is to be an accountant and he has an expected graduation date of May 2008.

Character

Came to Wichita State as a good baseball player and person and has not disappointed. Is a quality guy with good character and is an outstanding student. He is a dream player. He has overcome arm issues early in his career to become the opening day starter for WSU as a senior.

Community

Member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church and is a member of the 2:42 college group. he works the Shocker baseball pitching camps to learn how to teach children how to pitch and to watch them improve. He is a part of the Shocker Pen Pal program where he is a pen pal with a local elementary student and he donates to the Compassion Ministry. He was a referee for a dodge ball tournament that benefited St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and helped to rebuild houses in Greensburg, Kan., that were destroyed by a tornado. He helped with a pancake feed for Heather’s Camp, a summer camp for blind and visually impaired children.
