Classroom

Robby Lynch has collected several accolades for his work in the classroom, including second-team NSCAA Scholar-Athlete All-American, first-team Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete and he was a finalist for the Men’s Soccer University Division Academic All-America team. Lynch maintains a 3.61 GPA in biology and pre-physical therapy.

Character

Lynch has been a team leader since he first stepped on the field as a freshman. He’s an outstanding representative for the team at community functions and in volunteer activities.

Community

Lynch’s work with the community has involved a lot of different programs. He reads to elementary school students as part of the Score with the Aces program, he helped collect new and used soccer balls for children in Iraq through the Kick for Nick program and he helped raise funds and market the annual Kick for the Cure game as part of the Komen for the Cure foundation. In addition, Lynch took part in the Kidgits Club Book Blast at Eastland Mall and Circle K Special Ed Prom for special needs students who otherwise would not be able to attend their high school prom.

Competition

After his junior season Lynch was named first-team All-MVC and won the William V. Slyker Award, which is presented to Evansville’s most outstanding male athlete each year. Lynch was also honored as Evansville’s soccer MVP and placed on the NSCAA All-Midwest Region second team. In addition, Lynch was a second-team All-MVC selection after his freshman and sophomore seasons.
