Character

From Head Coach Dave Clawson: “Since becoming Wake Forest’s head football coach in 2014, we have made numerous changes within the program as we strive to compete for the Atlantic Coast Conference championship. One thing that has remained steadfast throughout the last three years has been Janvion. As our starting safety, Janvion has exhibited outstanding leadership qualities. Despite the presence of two senior cornerbacks who have moved onto the NFL, Janvion was a leader, not only among those in the secondary, but for our entire team. Elected a co-captain as a sophomore, Janvion was re-elected a captain for the 2015 season and his teammates again voted him as a captain for 2016. Janvion is the type of player that coaches yearn for. He loves football, is dedicated to training to be the best he can be, and also excels in the classroom. His community service record is outstanding, and he is a magnet who encourages all of his teammates to participate in projects that serve our campus and community.”
