Sam Fuller

Classroom

Sam Fuller was named to the CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-America Third Team as a junior after posting a 3.98 cumulative GPA as a double major. He has made the dean’s list every semester and was a member of the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team in 2018. He has been a member of the Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll every semester of his college career.

Character

Fuller is a team captain and is one of the university’s top student-athletes. He has served as a lector, acolyte and Eucharistic minister for University Ministries. Outside of St. Bonaventure, he serves as a lector and Eucharist minister at his local church, Saint John Vianney.

Community

Fuller helps with a number of community projects through University Ministries. He also assists with decorating a local church for holiday masses. During the offseason, he volunteers to work at his town’s annual parish festival.

Competition

Fuller started 34 of 39 games as a junior. He ranked third on the team with a .282 batting average and .357 OBP. He led the team with 13 stolen bases and committed just one error, posting a .987 fielding percentage. He also has 18 stolen bases in 22 career attempts and a career .981 fielding percentage.
