Sam Snow

Classroom

Snow is a Business Management major and has earned Dean’s list recognition in four of seven semesters.  He has never had a semester GPA of less than 3.0 and has been 3.2 or better in six semesters. In 2012 Snow was named to the All-ECAC Academic Team.

Character

Sam was voted a team captain, by a unanimous vote of his teammates. He is a quality young man that is held in the highest regard by coaches, teammates and administrators.  Sam is a mature, competent, well put-together young man, who is a natural leader.

Community

Snow has developed into a mentor for youth in his hometown, speaking with younger players and their parents about the college selection choice and the importance of education.  He aids youth and high school teams in his hometown with clinics to help continue to establish the sport in the state. Snow has participated annually in the Fairfield SAAC Student-Athlete Talent Show, as well as clinics with Bridgeport Youth Lacrosse.

Competition

Sam Snow begins his senior season having appeared in 44 games with 42 starting nods.  In that time he has scored 98 points, with 69 career goals. He earned All-ECAC for the third time in 2012 and was also named All-NEILA First Team. He is a 2013 InsideLacrosse Preseason All-America Honorable Mention.
