Classroom

Reynolds is on target to graduate with a communications degree in May 2010.  He has become a confident public speaker and often represents the basketball team at university functions.

Character

Reynolds is a three-year captain of the basketball team and is well respected across campus at Villanova.  He is a thoughtful and engaging young man who does not shy away from speaking about issues, including his adoption.

Community

As a member of the basketball team, Reynolds has participated in Villanova’s “Day of Service”, an annual university event in September.  He has run in the “Each One Counts” foundation race on campus to benefit pediatric hospice care and has been a part of Villanova’s youth basketball clinics as well.

Competition

Reynolds enters the 2009-10 season with 1,620 career points and is on track to become the school’s 8th 2000-point scorer.  His career scoring average is 15.3 points per game, and he has posted two 40-point games, including one last season at Seton Hall.  The Wildcats have appeared in the NCAA Tournament in each of his first three seasons and are 6-3 in those games.  In addition, Reynolds’ basket with .5 seconds remaining against Pitt lifted Villanova into the 2009 Final Four.
