Serena Dolan was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American Second Team in 2018. In the same season, she was also selected to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-South Region Team. Overall, Dolan holds a 3.57 cumulative GPA. She has spent 10 academic terms on the Tiger 3.0 list, earned a 4.0 in three academic terms and has also been listed to the dean’s list for two semesters.

Character

Dolan was named a team captain for her senior season (2019). Despite suffering an injury ahead of her sophomore season, Dolan has overcome adversity to earn starting roles in her junior and senior seasons. Additionally, Dolan has served as a leader in the Tigers’ midfield and acts as a mentor to her younger teammates.

Community

Dolan has volunteered in multiple facets and served the community. She has volunteered with the International Children’s Heart Foundation loading and unloading supplies. In the community, she has spent time at Memphis’ Target House baking and serving meals. Additionally, Dolan has spent time volunteering at Western Kings Memorial Hospital and served as a medical volunteer during a trip to Guatemala in the winter of 2018. Through team activity, Dolan has also spent time at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, participating in events such as the Zumbathon and the hospital’s annual marathon in downtown Memphis.

Competition

Ahead of her senior season, Dolan was named to the 2019 MAC Hermann Award Watch List and was named a 2019 AAC Preseason All-Conference Team selection. Last year, Dolan was listed to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches All-South Region First Team and earned first-team All-AAC honors. As a freshman, she made an immediate impact being tabbed to the AAC All-Rookie Team in 2016.

Throughout her career, Dolan has tallied nine goals and nine assists for 27 points. The Kentville, Nova Scotia, native also has tallied a pair of game-winning goals and has compiled over 4,500 career minutes.
