Shack Stanwick is majoring in political science and carries a 3.04 cumulative GPA. He was an Academic All-Big Ten selection as a junior in 2017.

Character

Stanwick was a elected as a co-captain of the 2018 Johns Hopkins men’s lacrosse team. He became the eighth of the eight Stanwick siblings to play Division I college lacrosse and serve as a team captain of their respective teams.

Community

Stanwick is involved in several team-wide community service and volunteer activities. Some of these activities include trips to the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center to visit kids battling cancer and helping with the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.

Competition

Now in his fourth year as a starter on attack, Stanwick earned honorable mention USILA All-America honors in 2016 and 2017 and was a first team All-Big Ten selection as a sophomore and a second-team pick as a junior. He carried a 48-game point-scoring streak into the 2018 season and, as of nomination time, has career totals of 74 goals and 82 assists for 156 points. He ranks 11th in school history in assists and 22nd in points.
