Ferguson maintains a 3.691 cumulative GPA in the ever-challenging fields of biology and chemistry. Ferguson earned the College of Charleston’s highly distinguished honor roll in 2010 and distinguished honor roll in 2011. Ferguson was included on the SoCon Academic All-Conference Team for the fall of 2010 and 2011.

Character

Ferguson served as a Campus Outreach Leader in an eight-week program in Panama City Beach, Fla. Ferguson is also a member of the National Collegiate Society of Honor Students and an active leader in the Biology Club at the College of Charleston. Ferguson serves as a pre-health peer advisor to assist fellow students with decisions regarding healthcare professions and course work.

Community

Ferguson serves his peers as a pre-health peer advisor to assist fellow students with decisions regarding healthcare professions and course work. Ferguson is currently an active volunteer through the M.U.S.C. Children’s Hospital as well as the Roper St. Francis SCRUBS program. Ferguson has additionally served as a veterinary assistant at the Rock Hill Animal Hospital and on the Literacy Walk.

Competition

As the rock of the Cougar defense, Ferguson started and played every minute of every match for the C o fC in 2011. Ferguson has started in every single match over the three seasons he has been a Cougar. Ferguson has scored four career goals and registered three assists despite being a pure defender. Ferguson was an all-conference first team selection in 2011 and an all-freshman selection in 2009.
