Milne has been involved in leading captain’s practices in the offseason. Despite being a target by the opposing defense due to his size, success and position, Milne has resisted “taking the bait” and focused solely on ensuring the team’s success.

Community

Milne, along with other teammates, has coordinated free preseason clinics in the state of Utah. He also is involved as a volunteer with Utah FC and its academy program and with Provo City Recreation’s youth program.

Competition

Milne is Utah Valley’s career scoring leader with 15 career goals and 36 career points. He was a second-team All-WAC performer, was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week and recorded the program’s first career hat trick during his junior season in 2015. So far this season, Milne earned the WAC Offensive Player of the Week after being named MVP at the Hotels and Grand Prairie Classic at Bradley University and also earned TDS.com Team of the Week and College Soccer News National Team of the Week honors. His other accolades include being named the NCAA Men’s Soccer Player of the Week and the Hero Sports Hero of the Week. In just its second season of existence, Milne led Utah Valley to a national ranking and an at-large NCAA Tournament berth in 2015. To start 2016, Utah Valley enjoyed an impressive start and another Top 25 ranking in each of the four national polls.
