Character

“If we had a team captain it would be Steven. He played in only 16 games last season due to a broken finger, and we missed his presence on the field. Reveles is a guy that everyone looks up to because he does things the right way and leads by example.” - Darin Erstad, Nebraska Head Coach

Community

Reveles has volunteered at the American Red Cross (2015-16), Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital (2014, 2015), Norris Titans Youth Baseball (2015), Lincoln Public Schools (2014), St Elizabeth Hospital (2013) and Husker Heroes Event (2013).

Competition

Reveles transfered to Nebraska after being a 2013 CCCAA All-American at Santa Barbara City College. He is the owner of two letters (2014, 2015) and was on the 2014 Brooks Wallace Shortstop of the Year Watch List (one of 35). He played just 16 games for the Huskers in 2015 before breaking a finger against Michigan on March 20 and was granted a medical hardship and received another year of eligibility for 2016. In 2014 he played in 54 games for the Huskers, including 51 starts at shortstop, hitting .262 on the year with 33 runs scored and ranking third on the team with 11 doubles. He went 5-for-10 in three games at the NCAA Tournament that season with two runs and two RBIs.
