Sug holds a 3.0 cumulative GPA majoring in health promotion and behavioral sciences. She is a three-time member of the Academic All-Big 12 Teams and a three-time Arthur Ashe, Jr., Sports Scholar. Sug was a member of the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team in 2017.

Character

Sug is the definitive leader on the Texas women’s basketball team. She sows incredibly strong character and leadership skills each and every day in practice. She featured as part of the Big 12 Conference’s Champions for Life program.

Community

Sug has volunteered at a number of events since setting foot on the UT campus, including the Juneteenth Celebration, the MLK Day of Service and the Black Student-Athlete Summit. She also volunteered at Austin Animal Services, the Gardner Betts Juvenile Center and the UT Childcare Center.

Competition

Sug has played in 101 career games with 36 starts in her Texas career. She holds career averages of 7.7 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game and 2.9 assists per game. As the starting point guard as a junior in 2018-19, she was a First-Team All-Big 12 Conference selection and was also named to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team. As a junior, Sug led the Longhorns in scoring (12.7 points per game), assists per game (5.4) and steals per game (1.3).
