Classroom
Sydni Means excels in the classroom as a communications studies major. She has constantly been near the top of the team in GPA, earning a spot on the 2017 SoCon All-Academic squad.
Character
Means is quick to push her teammates to be the best they can be. She is a senior captain, and the younger teammates look to her on and off the court.
Community
Means is actively involved in the community. She joined the women’s basketball team in Costa Rica this summer, working in the mission field as well as playing competitive basketball against Costa Rica’s national team.
Competition
Means finished third in the NCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio and has the highest rating in said category for returning players. Means was named to the 2017 SoCon All-Tournament team as well as to the SoCon All-Conference First Team.
