Classroom

Oltman has earned a 3.91 GPA including a 4.0 in four of her first seven semesters. She is a two-time ESPN/College Sports Information Directors Association Academic All-America second team, as well as a two- time ESPN/CoSIDA Academic All-District VII first team. She also was announced as two-time Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete first team.

Character

Not only is Oltman a leader by example, but she is the vocal leader of Creighton as well. She has enjoyed success but continues to work hard. She praises her teammates and is a great team player.

Community

Oltman has been a leader each year in community service hours for Creighton. She has worked multiple softball clinics for area youth, participated in the Just Read program, and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.

Competition

Oltman is the first player in school history to be honored as an All-American in each of her three seasons on campus. She is the only three time Pitcher of the Year winner in Missouri Valley Conference history and enters her senior season already owning the MVC record with 86 career victories.  The 10-time MVC Pitcher of the Week also begins her fourth season already owning Creighton career records for pitching appearances (135), starts (102) and complete games (93), while she is second in strikeouts (795) and innings pitched (781) and will likely have those records midway through the season. The right-hander was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American as a junior. She is a three time Easton All-America second team, NFCA All-America third team, NFCA Midwest Region first team and second team honoree, three time MVC All-Tournament team, and the MVC Newcomer of the Year.
