Tayler Hill

Hill is on pace to receive her degree in Human Development and Family Science.

Character

Tayler is everything you look for in a student-athlete. She is humble, hard-working, smart, bright and has a great sense of humor. So many little girls look up to Tayler, not only because of what she does on the court, but how she carries herself off the court as well. She is always there for her teammates to lend advice and leads by example each and everyday, something she learned growing up being the second-oldest of her other six siblings.

Community

Hill and all her Buckeye teammates are heavily involved in the community, whether it be visiting local hospitals, volunteering time at the Mid-Ohio Food Bank or reading to kids at local elementary schools.

Competition

Hill was a First Team All-Big Ten selection in 2012 and a member of the Big Ten All-Defensive Team. Last season she led the Big Ten in scoring with 20.4 ppg and was 13th in the NCAA. A Wade Trophy finalist, she also led the Big Ten with 2.5 3FGs in Big Ten games and ranked 12th nationally with a 41.3 percent clip from beyond the arc (82-of-196). Hill was third in the Big Ten in steals (2.5) and led the Buckeyes with 81 overall. Last year she scored in double-figures in all 32 games and had 19 20-point games, including one 30-point effort.
