Taylor Allum

Taylor Allum is an information security and assurance major with a cumulative GPA of 3.46. He earned a 4.0 for the Fall 2017 term and was also a 2017 ASUN All-Academic choice. He also earned ASUN All-Academic honors as a freshman.


Allum is a two-time team captain at Kennesaw State.


Allum has been very active volunteering with youth baseball organizations, nonprofits supporting kids with special needs, serving at events supporting the Alzheimer’s Association and working with a family through Team IMPACT to help a child with a severe illness become part of the KSU bas all team, an experience they could not enjoy on their own due to the severity of the condition.


Allum was named to the 2017 ASUN First Team after making 55 starts in 56 games played, primarily playing right field and first base in his junior season. He provided one of the most powerful bats in any lineup this season, dropping a career-high 15 home runs and 40 RBI. His 15 homers ranked second in the ASUN, and his 46 runs batted in ranked eighth in the conference. He also tied KSU’s single-season D-I record of home runs (15). In his freshman season, he was named to the ASUN Conference Second Team.
