Tom Kennedy

Bryant University

Tom Kennedy is a seven-time dean’s list honoree. He has been named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll in every active semester on the field between lacrosse and football. This fall, he was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District and FCS ADA All-Academic honoree.

Head Lacrosse Coach Mike Pressler had the following to say of Kennedy’s character: “In 35 years of college coaching, Tom Kennedy is the greatest two-sport athlete I have had the pleasure to recruit and coach. He is an absolute scholar in the classroom and a very humble gentleman off the field. His incredible competitive spirit, work ethic, selfless attitude and ability to lead those around him separates him from even the very best that our sport has produced. For any college coach, he is a once-in-a-lifetime student-athlete.”

Kennedy spends his summers volunteering at clinics back home on Long Island and helping grow the game in Rhode Island.

Kennedy was a first-team All-NEC selection in 2017. As a junior, he helped the Bryant lacrosse team to its fifth NEC title in the last six years, scoring 24 goals and adding 15 assists and 25 ground balls.
