Travis Seefeldt has taken full advantage of his collegiate experience, as he is a three-time academic All-Conference honoree. He already has received his bachelor’s degree from USU in management information systems and is currently working on his master’s degree in business administration.

Character

Seefeldt is a great young man who has an infectious personality. He also has a unique outlook on life after missing the 2015 season due to severe injuries sustained in a car accident during the summer of 2015. Seefeldt has fully recovered from those injuries and is taking full advantage of his second chance in life personally, on the football field and in the classroom. Seefeldt started at nose guard for USU in its first game of the 2016 season and married his high school sweetheart this past July.

Community

Seefeldt is a member of both SAMs and SAAC at Utah State. He also volunteers his team to various elementary schools with reading and other activities.

Competition

Seefeldt is a gifted football player that has developed into a team leader, both on and off the field, for Utah State. In his final season of college football, Seefeldt has received numerous preseason accolades, as he was named to the first-team All-Mountain West by Athlon Sports and first-team All-Mountain West by Phil Steele. He as also been named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List and is an Allstate AFCA Good Works Team nominee.
