Classroom
In his fourth season at Creighton, Keller enters the fall with a cumulative GPA of 3.47. He posted a 3.58 last spring and has been on the Dean’s List (3.5 or above) in three of the last four semesters. Following the 2014-15 season, Keller was named Creighton’s Male Student Athlete of the Year and was named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.
Character
One of the Bluejays’ captains this season as well as in 2014, Keller has emerged as the Creighton defensive leader over the past two seasons. He played more than 2,000 minutes as a junior, helping the defense hold opponents to just 11 goals in 22 matches. His effort helped the Bluejays post 12 shutouts in 2014.
Community
Keller has been Active in the community throughout his tenure at Creighton. He has been a part of Creighton’s annual Kicks for a Cure contest every season, and, in 2014-15 as a junior, Keller participated in outreach events consistently and was one of the last Bluejays to leave the field following each contest, staying to sign autographs for the local community.
Competition
On the field Keller has three goals and six assists in three seasons, despite playing the center-back role. Keller’s presence in the back led to 12 shutouts as well as a 16-3-3 mark, the highest winning percentage in the NCAA.
