Snyderwine is currently enrolled in Duke’s graduate program for Economics after earning his undergraduate degree in Economics and a minor in English last May. He has been on the Dean’s List four times, twice with distinction. He is a two-time Academic All-ACC selection and has been chosen to the ACC Academic honor roll all four years.

Character

Snyderwine joined the team as a walk-on in 2007 following an open tryout. He’s a great competitor, and his performance on the field earned him a scholarship prior to the 2010 season.

Community

Snyderwine has volunteered at the Durham Rescue Mission annually in the summer. He has also assisted with a team-wide campus cleanup where the team goes around campus and picks up trash.

Competition

In 2010, Snyderwine was honored as a first-team AFCA and second-team Walter Camp All-American, becoming the school’s first All-American kicker. He is a two-time second-team All-ACC selection as well as a two-time Lou Groza Award semifinalist. Snyderwine owns school records for career PAT percentage (1.000, 56-56), made field goals in a season (21 in 2010), season field goal percentage (.875 in 2010), career field goal percentage (.864) and consecutive field goals made (18). He currently ranks sixth on Duke’s all-time scoring list with 170 career points and is on pace to set the career record. Snyderwine is 12 of 13 in his career from the 40-49-yard field goal range and has made two field goals of 50 or more yards.
