Smith carries a 3.34 grade point average in Health and Physical Education and is a dean’s list student and CAA honor roll selection.
Character
Smith is an outstanding young man who works hard both on and off the field as one of the team’s leaders.
Community
Smith has participated in ODU’s MonarchReachout program. He and his teammates help paint a wing at the Norfolk Harrison Opera House. Every year he assists with Charity Kicks program - a program where student-athletes work with area youth to team them the sport.
Competition
After a strong junior season, Smith was selected as a third team NSCAA All-American and was a semi-finalist for the MAC Hermann trophy. He was first-team All-CAA and was the Virginia College Player of the Year. He ranked 9th nationally in goals (16) and 12th in total points (34).
