Manning is a member of the 2010-11 Chancellor’s List. The lone senior on the Lady Broncos, Manning is the unquestioned leader on and off the floor for the Lady Broncos. Quiet in demeanor and a leader by example, Manning sets the academic standard for the Lady Broncos as well. At one time facing a homeless status, Manning rose above the challenges facing her to play collegiately at a four-year institution. Manning was plagued by injury throughout the 2010-11 season, but still finished among the team leaders in minutes played, blocked shots and rebounding. Manning is one of the most active student-athletes serving the community at Fayetteville State. She enjoys working with the special needs centers in the area, in particular the Dorothy Gilmore Center. She has raised money to fight heart disease and regularly volunteers for the Special Olympics and Paralympics. Manning ranked second on the Lady Broncos with 5.7 rebounds per game in 2010-11 season and ranked among the team leaders in minutes played, rebounds and blocked shots. Manning averaged 10.4 points and nine rebounds per game while blocking 68 shots for Louisburg during her sophomore season.
