Lowe's Senior CLASS Award - CIAA Division

Christopher is a sport science and physical education major at Chowan University.  She was burdened with being involved in a serious car accident before her junior year that made the physical and mental aspect of being a student-athlete difficult to achieve.  Credited with saving the life of a fellow teammate in the car crash, Christopher has since rebounded and is back on track in both the classroom and on the basketball floor.  In addition, she has been very involved in many community events with the Chowan University athletic department such as the annual Girls & Women in Sport Day, PinkZone, Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life and Breast Cancer Awareness.  A leader on and off the floor, Christopher is a team captain for the Chowan women’s basketball team and is a hard-working, determined and respectful individual.
