Ken DavisKen Davis is a freelance writer who covers college basketball for and He has covered college sports since 1977 and was a staff writer for The Hartford Courant for 20 years. His work has also appeared in The Sporting News,, ESPN The Magazine, USA Today and Basketball Times, among others. His first book, The University of Kansas Basketball Vault Book, was published in 2008 and his vault book on the University of Connecticut will be released in late 2010. Davis has served on the board of directors for both the U.S. Basketball Writers Association and the Football Writers Association of America. Davis is a University of Kansas graduate and lives in Coventry, Conn., with his wife, Nancy. They have two sons, Patrick (26) and Joseph (22).
