Wahl is pursuing a degree in elementary education, carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA.
She was named to thee 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team and is a three-time OVC Academic Medal of Honor Award Winner.
Character
Wahl serves on Eastern Illinois’ Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, along with other leadership roles.
Community
Wahl, along with her teammates, works with local schools to put on the annual CARE Game, which raises money for area cancer survivors.
She has also helped with the Special Olympics, American Red Cross Blood Drives, and various youth basketball clinics. In addition, Wahl has been a part of the leadership team that adopted an area youth who has health challenges, making them an honorary team member.
Competition
Last season, Wahl led the Panthers in both scoring (14.5) and rebounds (7.4) per game. She was named to the All-OVC first team for her efforts and now enters her senior year as a preseason all-conference selection.
In 2018-19, Wahl was named the EIU Female Newcomer of the Year.
