Character

Patberg enters her fourth year as a team captain for the Hoosiers. She displays the true ideals of a leader - a selfless individual who puts others before herself and earns respect from her peers.

Patberg chose to return to Indiana for her seventh season instead of going professional because of her love of the game. Patberg’s highly-competitive nature is a driving force behind the program’s success and a reason she is a fan favorite among the fans.

Community

In her time at Bloomington, Patberg has dedicated her time to multiple outreach programs. She has participated in IU Women’s Basketball’s special event, Candy Stripe Crew, during all four years. Indiana hosts 50 disabled and handicapped individuals for a two-hour basketball clinic.

Patberg has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Build, Camp Riley Hoosiers Outrun Cancer, Salvation Army Kettlebell Kick-Off, Fairview Hoosier Readers, Fairview Recess Buddies, and Read Across America.

Competition

Patberg has been a three-time All-Big Ten honoree during her four seasons at Indiana. She was instrumental in leading the Hoosiers to an NCAA Elite Eight appearance last season and received 2020 WBCA All-America Honorable Mention recognition. Patberg averaged 14.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game in her senior year.

Patberg has also continued to climb the program’s leaderboards. She is just the 28th Hoosier to score 1,000 career points and now sits 15th all-time (1,368). She also ranks third in school history in assists (416).
