Ally Watt graduated in May with a degree in business. She is enrolled in graduate school pursuing a degree in sport management with a current GPA of 3.35.

Character

Watt is serving as team captain in 2019. She bypassed professional playing opportunities in Europe to play her final collegiate season. She redshirted in 2016 to play at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

Community

Watt embarked on the Aggies for Haiti mission trip in 2016. She volunteered for Erin’s Dream Race, benefitting childhood cancer research, from 2015 to 2019, and in 2015 she participated in The Big Event, which is the largest single-day student-run service project in the nation. From 2015-2018, she volunteered with Aggies Can, the largest student-athlete organized food drive in the nation, and also volunteers with an elementary school reading program.

Competition

Watt entered the season ranked sixth among active players in goals and led the SEC with 15 goals in 2018. She was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team, United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region First Team and was a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist in 2018. She also was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Best XI Second Team in 2018 and All-SEC First Team in 2017 and 2018. Watt was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2015 and SEC All-Tournament Team in 2017. She entered the season with 71 points on 33 goals and five assists.
