Master's in Psychological Studies

Espinoza-Hunter is pursuing a master’s degree in psychological studies at Seton Hall. She carries a 3.61 GPA with a concentration in sports psychology.

She was named to the 2020-21 BIG EAST All-Academic Team.

Even though she has only been at Seton Hall for a short time, Espinoza-Hunter was named a team captain this season. She is always one of the hardest working players in the program - whether it be arriving at practices early or staying late.

Espinoza-Hunter is a terrific representative of the program and handles all media interviews well.

Since arriving at Seton Hall, Espinoza-Hunter has been an extremely active participant in the community. She has volunteered in Thanksgiving basket giveaways for families in Newark, N.J and made visits to local elementary schools. Espinoza-Hunter has also participated in a Heroes with Police event that took place over the summer.

She also helped sort collections of food and assisted the donation to local families in Newark during the pandemic.

Espinoza-Hunter joined Seton Hall during the middle of the season last year - but immediately took the conference by storm. She has scored in double figures in all but one game, reaching 20 points seven times, since her arrival. Espinoza-Hunter was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week in consecutive weeks.

She ranked third in the BIG EAST in points per game (18.6) and twice made seven three-pointers in one game.  Espinoza-Hunter’s made three-pointers per game mark (3.1) led the conference by a wide margin. She was named to the All-BIG East first team for her play. On January 20th, she recorded a career-high 30 points in a win over St. John’s.

Espinoza-Hunter entered this year as a preseason all-conference selection and was named to the Cheryl Miller Award Watch List.
