Classroom

Maisano is a decorated student for at the United States Military Academy. He holds a 4.00 GPA in systems engineering, ranking him 19th academically in the USMA Class of 2010. He is in the top 5% of his class overall. He has received the Superintendent’s Award for Excellence every semester. Also, he is a three time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection, Dean’s List honoree every semester, Golden Key Honor Society member, and a Society of American Military Engineers member.

Character

Serving as captain of the lacrosse team, Maisano is a member of the Brigade Chain of Command and is chair of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He completed Airborne School in the summer of 2008, is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and aspires to be a combat engineer upon graduation.

Community

Maisano serves as company tutor, volunteers at the USA Lacrosse Clinic and Army Youth Lacrosse Clinic, and helped teach combatives at the USMA Prep School during the summer training period.

Competition

He is the starting midfielder for the Black Knights. Was a starter for all 16 games as a junior and finished sixth on the team with 13 points and eight goals.
