Harris is studying special education at Gonzaga. He currently carries a 3.51 GPA.

In each of his two seasons at Gonzaga, Harris has been named a WCC All-Academic honorable mention.

Character

Harris is extremely passionate about trying to make people around him better. His embodiment of this mindset has made him the epitome of Gonzaga baseball. Harris cares for his teammates and helps them adjust to life as a college student.

He also cares for his family and friends. Growing up, Harris built a strong relationship with one of his teammates brothers who suffered from cerebral palsy. It made him realize that he has a skills and personality suited for serving others in similar situations.

Community

In only one year, Harris has volunteered over 50 hours of community service.

He has participated in yard clean-up efforts, building homes for Habitat for Humanity, and helping facilitate a block party for the local neighborhood. Harris has also assisted with a Warm Clothing Drive for the local Catholic Charities.

Competition

Harris is in his third season at Gonzaga. As of February 22, he has appeared in 64 career games with 59 starts.

In 222 at-bats, he has registered 69 hits with 40 RBI, 15 doubles, four home runs, and a .432 SLG. Harris also carries a .936 fielding percentage with 97 assists, 63 putouts, and just 11 errors.

Through four games in 2021, he has six hits, five RBI, seven runs, and a .636 SLG. Harris is perfect fielding with six assists and three putouts.
