Brian was named first team Academic All-America and is one of three male finalists nationally (all sports) for the Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Award. The Columbus City Council and the Ohio state legislature have recognized him for his academic achievements. Robiskie currently holds a 3.5 GPA in marketing and plans to graduate a quarter early.
Character
Robiskie would have been a first or second round NFL draft pick but chose to return to Ohio State for his senior season to complete his college career and finish his degree. In recognition of his achievement and dedication to the team, he was voted team captain for the 2008 season.
Community
Brian works with young people whenever he gets the opportunity and is eager to share encouraging words on the pursuit of education and how to be a well-rounded person.
Competition
Robiskie was Ohio State’s leading receiver in 2007 and is a two-year starter and four-year letterman. During Brian’s tenure, the Buckeyes have won three straight Big Ten titles and played in the last two national championship games.
