Harris graduated in May of 2019. He boasted a 3.51 GPA while earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

He is currently pursuing a master’s in counselor education, where he carries a 3.77 GPA.

Character

Harris is a three-time team captain for Toledo.

He was a nominee for the 2020 Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year Award.

Community

Harris has volunteered with numerous organizations throughout his time at Toledo.

He has participated with the Promedica Hospital, Boys and Girls Club, Glass City Marathon, Akron Food Drive, Toledo’s Victory Day, Acme Fresh Market, Feed My Starving Children, Special Olympics Columbus, as well as local elementary schools and football camps.

Harris has also volunteered with St. Pius Elementary, where he has spent 75 hours as a mentor.

Competition

Harris is entering his fourth-year as a starter for the Rockets. He is a two-time All-MAC selection, having earned first team honors in 2020.

Heading into 2021, Harris was named a preseason All-MAC selection by Athlon and Phil Steele. He was also selected to the Rimington Trophy and Outland Trophy Watch Lists.
