Classroom

Williams is currently pursuing a degree in sociology at UConn.

Character

Over the last two seasons, Williams has stepped up for the program as it had mostly underclassmen.

In 2020-21, she helped rally the team with eight underclassmen through the pandemic-affected season to UConn’s 13th-straight NCAA Final Four and the BIG EAST regular season and tournament titles.

Community

Williams has been extremely active in community efforts during her time in Storrs. She was a major advocate for social justice last year while helping put together a voting initiative with her teammates.

Williams has also volunteered with UConn’s SAAC, Habitat for Humanity, and the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. In addition, she is involved with the programs Team IMPACT Teammate, Daniela, who joined in 2018.

Competition

Williams arrived at UConn as the top-ranked recruit coming out of high school. She has lived up to that billing, becoming the 49th Husky to score 1,000 career points. She currently leads the BIG EAST in points with 1,400.

Throughout her career, Williams has been selected as the 2019 AAC Freshman of the Year and is a two-time all-conference first team honoree. Entering this season, she was named a preseason All-BIG EAST selection and to the Naismith, Wooden, Wade, and Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Watch Lists.
