McCarthy is a two-time ECAC Hockey All-Academic team selection. McCarthy has already completed his undergraduate degree at Clarkson and is now working towards his MBA.
Character
McCarthy was named assistant co-captain during his senior season and is a two-time recipient of Clarkson Hockey’s Richmond Most Improved Award.
Community
McCarthy has volunteered with Clarkson’s Hockey Headway Foundation efforts, which promotes concussion awareness. McCarthy is also involved in all other Clarkson Hockey community efforts.
Competition
McCarthy is Clarkson’s top scorer from the blueline and was a 2020 ECAC Hockey second-team selection.
