While at UCLA, Sheehan has compiled a GPA over 3.0. During 2019-20, she earned a 3.7 GPA.

She has earned UCLA’s Rose Gilbert Courage and Character Award. It is awarded to student-athletes who were confronted with significant obstacles outside the classroom, met their challenge with courage, strength and resiliency and were able to successfully overcome the challenge while still excelling academically.

Character

Sheehan is a vice-captain for UCLA this season, as voted by her teammates.

Community

With the LA Breakers Soccer Club, Sheehan has volunteered over 100 hours.

She has volunteered at UCLA’s Dribble for the Culture, which benefits pediatric cancer. Sheehan has also participated in the Soccer United Against Hunger Food Drive in 2020, as well as elementary school visits in support of Reading Across America.

Competition

Sheehan has played in 70 games at UCLA, starting 54. She has tallied 11 goals and 13 assists.

During her career, she earned 2018 All-PAC-12 honors and 2017 PAC-12 All-Freshman honors. She was also selected to the 2017 Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Best XI first team.

Since being converted from a midfielder to a defender in 2018, Sheehan has earned Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors twice and contributed to 25 shutouts

She has played with the U.S. U-20, U-19 and U-18 National Teams and was an alternate for the U.S. at the 2018 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
