Oliver is majoring in human biology with a concentration in human performance, and carries a cumulative GPA of 3.46. She also is serving as a teacher’s assistant in an exercise physiology class this fall.

Character

In 2011, Oliver won Stanford’s Arthur F. Dauer Memorial Sports Performance Award, which honors the student-athlete who gives their best each day on and off the field, but also makes their teammates better through their positive attitude, work ethic, and consistent commitment to strength and conditioning. This award is not just for soccer, but for all of Stanford’s 36 sports.

Community

In 2012, Oliver spoke to children at two elementary schools about leadership and the importance of school. She also has participated in the Swim with Mike event to raise money for physically challenged athletes, has built playhouses for Habitat for Humanity, and has been involved in RIF (Reading is Fundamental) through her sorority.

Competition

Oliver is a three-time NCAA College Cup All-Tournament selection and was the 2011 College Cup Defensive MVP. She earned NSCAA third-team All-America honors in 2011 and was a first-team choice by Top Drawer Soccer in 2012. Oliver is a three-time all-conference choice, with two first-team All-Pac-12 selections. Her career goals against average is 0.34, which is on pace to break the school record of 0.45 held by current U.S. national team goalkeeper Nicole Barnhart. Oliver has 26 career shutouts, fifth on Stanford’s all-time list.
