He also has volunteered for the food pantry in Concord, N.H., and collected money for the food bank in Canton. Bayreuther also coaches youth hockey clinics in Canaan, N.H., at Cardigan Mountain School during winter breaks.

Bayreuther earned second-team All America honors following the 2015-16 season when he became the first defenseman in program history to lead the team in scoring with 12 goals and 17 assists for 29 points. He was the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year in 2013-14 and is a two-time All-ECAC Hockey selection.
