Graham Slaggert

Classroom

Slaggert carries a 3.43 GPA at Notre Dame while pursuing a management consulting degree.

He has been named to the Big Ten All-Academic Team each of the past two seasons, earning the distinction every year he has been eligible.

Character

Slaggert was selected as a team captain for the Fighting Irish last season.

He also serves on Notre Dame’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council.

Community

Slaggert has spearheaded Notre Dame’s involvement with the 525 Foundation. He helps raise funds and awareness about the dangers of both alcohol and prescription drug misuse and abuse.

Earlier this season, Notre Dame hosted a drop-2-stop pill drop game where attendees dropped off an unused, unwanted and expired prescription medications to dispose of safely. The Fighting Irish fans combined to drop off 13 pounds of unused prescription medication for the DEA to dispose of.

Competition

Slaggert played in 27 games last season for the Fighting Irish. He was the team’s second-leading scorer, tallying 25 points on seven goals and a team-best 18 assists. Slaggert’s 25 points were a season-best after posting nine points as a freshman and 10 points as a sophomore. He is one of Notre Dame’s top centers and plays on both the power play and penalty kills units.

Slaggert was selected as a 2021 All-Big Ten Second Team preseason honoree and currently ranks tied for fourth on the team with six points between four goals and two assists through nine games.
