Harrison Markell

Markell is pursuing a degree in government at Dartmouth. He was named a 2019-20 ACHA All-American Scholar and is a three-time ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team selection, earning the honor each season he has been eligible.

Heading into this season, Markell was unanimously voted by his teammates as the team captain.

“Markell earned those votes because he is a young man of impeccable character as well as a tireless worker at the rink. We are proud to have him represent our program.”
- Head Coach Reid Cashman

Markell is the Director of the Canaan Club at Dartmouth. It’s a club that consists of roughly 25 student-athletes who visit Canaan Elementary School weekly to join the fourth graders in physical education class. They strive to create a positive environment and share their experiences in athletics and college to give an idea of what it takes.

In his career for the Big Green, Markell has played in 77 games, an impressive feat considering his junior season was cancelled.

Markell has appeared in all 19 games for Dartmouth this season, tallying one goal and four assists with 36 blocks and only three penalties.
