Character
Wilson has spent three seasons in Arizona State’s captain leadership group.
He was an alternate captain in his junior season and is now in his second consecutive season serving as captain after being elevated to the position.
Community
Wilson’s leadership extends outside of the Sun Devils’ team. He participates in Tip of the Fork, which is Arizona State’s student-athlete leadership program. It’s designed to acknowledge and develop the most excelling Sun Devil student-athletes into transformative leaders. Through the leadership group, student-athletes are able to creatively harness their knowledge and skills to make a positive, meaningful contribution to the Tempe community and society at large.
Competition
Wilson has now played in 128 career games in his fifth season as a Sun Devil. That mark ranks third in program history for most games played by a skater.
He has collected nine goals and 32 assists for 41 total points - all while being a defenseman. Wilson’s 32 career assists are seventh in Arizona State program history and third by a defenseman. His 42 points are also ranked third in total points by a defenseman at ASU.
