Classroom

In the classroom, Carraway owns a 3.152 grade point average as a finance major in Georgetown’s prestigious McDonough School of Business. He has been named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team every year since coming to the Hilltop in 2006 and was selected to the Dean’s List once.

Character

Carraway’s involvement beyond the field of play began even before his matriculation to Georgetown. He was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Student Government and Mock Stock Investment Club at St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis.

Community

A leader in the community, Carraway spearheads both of Georgetown lacrosse’s team community service events. In the fall, the Hoyas participate in the Race to Beat Cancer 5K, which supports the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute (MGCI) at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Additionally, Carraway is the lead organizer for GU’s annual Cycle for Survival team to raise money and awareness for rare cancer patients.

Competition

On the field, Carraway is a two-time BIG EAST Champion after leading the Hoyas to back-to-back league titles in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, he was named a USILA Honorable Mention All-American, First Team All-BIG EAST, to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team, and was selected to Tewaaraton Award Watch List. Named the BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week three times, Carraway was also selected to the USILA Team of the Week twice. Carraway led the Hoyas with 88 points (57G, 31A) on the season to tie the Georgetown program record for points in a season and tallied 57 goals for the second most goals in a season in program history. He moved into seventh place all-time at Georgetown with 179 (121G, 58A) points and ranks sixth all-time on the Hilltop with 121 goals.
