Classroom

Faulkner has works as hard in the classroom as she does on the floor. She is a interdisciplinary studies major with a minor in sport management.

Character

Faulkner is truly a unique and outstanding individual who has tremendous character. She is a true leader as everyone tends to feed off her positive energy. She is an encouraging teammate with intrinsic motivation to be successful. People look up to her because she still looks on the bright side when faced with challenging situations. She always wants to get better on the court and be a better person off the court.

Community

Faulkner truly enjoys giving back to the community. From the moment she set foot on the campus, she has been heavily involved in community service. She and her teammates spend time visiting the area schools in telling students how important it is to stay in school. She is involved in reading programs such as “Learn to Read”. She has aided in Habitat for Humanity projects. She and her teammates have partnered with the Children’s Center in various activities that included a United Way Corporate Challenge.

Competition

Faulkner is as competitive as she is fierce. She was tabbed a Conference USA Preseason All-Conference player for the past two seasons. She is a two-time Conference USA First Team selection. She also was a finalist for the top female player in the state of Mississippi to receive the C Spire Gillom Award. She has been named C-USA Player of the Week numerous times. She became the all-time assist leader at Southern Miss and still has one season remaining. Faulkner led her team and Conference USA in scoring and assists last season. She is a member of the 1,000-point club at Southern Miss.
