Classroom

Davis is pursuing a degree in religion.

Following the spring semester in 2019, he was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for recording a 3.25 GPA.

Character

Standing at 6-6, 340, Davis is one of the most imposing players in the country. However, he is the true definition of a “gentle giant.”

He has a disposition to help others and is truly a fun loving individual. His performance on the field is demanding national attention, but his character is an enduring trait that came with him to Athens - and shows no signs of leaving.

Community

Davis has participated in a variety of community initiatives at Georgia.

He has volunteered with Camp Sunshine, Bulldogs Battling Breast Cancer, the David Pollack Charity Golf Tournament, and the Food Bank of North Georgia.

Davis has also created motivational videos and read to local elementary students, visited hospitals in New Orleans and Atlanta, and worked with Rennie Curran to mentor high school students.

Competition

Davis has enjoyed a tremendous start to his senior campaign. Following a win over Clemson to open the year, he was named the Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week and the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week. Davis has recorded eight tackles, including three tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, in the first three games of the season.

Last season, Davis was named a AFCA second team All-American after starting the seven games that he played in.

He started eight of the 14 games for Georgia as a sophomore, finishing with 18 tackles, including 2.5 sacks.

Following Davis’ freshman season, he was named to the FWAA freshman All-America team and the coaches All-SEC team.
