The organization uses student-athletes’ platforms in sport to positively impact their teams, campuses, and local and global communities. The year-long campaign culminated with a trip to Ecuador during the summer of 2018, when the VOLeaders completed service projects and interacted with youth through sports and games.

Cousins has also served as a member of Tennessee soccer’s leadership council the past two years, helping guide the Vols to their best season in program history in 2018.

Community

Cousins has been an active community servant during her time at Tennessee. She has worked with organizations such as the Emerald Youth Foundation, Kicks for Kids and the Race Against Alzheimer’s. She has logged more than 70 hours of community service since the summer of 2018.

Competition

Cousins returned for her redshirt-senior season as a back-to-back third-team United Soccer Coaches All-American. She is a three-time All-SEC performer, earning first-team league honors the past two seasons. She was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Preseason Watch List this year and was rated as the No. 5 player in the country according to TopDrawerSoccer.
